Job summary

Aviva Health in Roseburg, Oregon is seeking a PSR II - Dental Float to manage patient check-ins, chart preparation, and front-office support across multiple clinics. This role requires accurate data entry, proficiency with dental software, and courteous patient interactions.

You will collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow, proper documentation, and compliant billing. A reliable, detail-oriented team player is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute or higher.
• Knowledge of Practice Management, Electronic Dental Records, dental terminology, and general office practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Oregon driver’s license with clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient packet data accurately and scan documents; verify paperwork.
• Register patients at appointment time and assist with forms as needed.
• Screen new patients for eligibility and collect financial/demographic information.
• Schedule patient visits and manage appointment flow.
• Calculate charges, collect payments, and document receipts in PM system.
• Explain treatment plans and answer patient questions as needed.
• Answer phone calls and perform courtesy confirmation calls.
• Attend required trainings and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Travel to other clinics as needed to float between locations.
