Strong data-entry and Microsoft Office skills are essential for daily operations.

The role requires experience with Medicaid/third-party billing and the ability to coordinate translations or translation assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to enter data in a computer accurately and timely.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to answer calls, direct callers to appropriate personnel, schedule appointments, sign for incoming packages and assist clients and visitors.
• Ability to organize and maintain confidential and sensitive materials.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Experience using computer software in an office setting.

Responsabilités

• Registers and maintains client records in HMS and dental software with accuracy and compliance.
• Research client demographics and update information for each visit.
• Interviews and verifies eligibility for client services and educates on fee schedules.
• Verifies authorizations for Medicaid reimbursement and determines financial eligibility.
• Documents third-party insurance into the financial data file and maximizes revenue collections.
• Operates office equipment and completes reports per policy and procedure.
• Travel to clinics as requested and process services and collect payments.
