Job summary

Dentists of Pico Rivera is seeking a friendly receptionist to help patients check in, answer calls, and welcome guests in a professional manner. You will support front desk operations while delivering a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and helping build Patients for Life (PFL).

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle patient records confidentially in a fast-paced dental office. Prior office/healthcare exposure is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: coursework or training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
• Knowledge of office practices, technology applications and patient insurances.

Responsibilities

• Modeling company culture and standards.
• Support PPE by helping patients come into the office and stay comfortable.
• Schedule appointments for smooth provider days.
• Interact with patients in reception area.
• Answer phones promptly and handle calls efficiently.
• Ensure front office tasks are completed daily.
• Post payments to patient accounts.
• Be SME for the practice management system and patient registration.
