Qualifications

• Experience in a dental office, patient registration, or customer service is preferred.
• Proficient in managing electronic health records, multi-tasking, and using dental scheduling software (Dentrix is a plus).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with diverse individuals in a friendly and professional manner.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and dental software systems.
• Associate’s degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and welcome them in a professional, friendly manner.
• Schedule appointments and confirm them to optimize patient flow.
• Verify and update patient demographics and financial information in the Practice Management system.
• Verify insurance coverage, process co-pays, and inform patients of balances.
• Assist patients with Sliding Fee Program and coordinate with financial counselors.
