Job summary

a-teamdentalstaffing is seeking a highly efficient Patient Care Coordinator for a General Dentistry practice in California. This role ensures patients receive excellent care and customer service, handling appointment scheduling, check-in, and maintaining accurate records with HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates have dental office experience, are familiar with Open Dental, and can manage patient data and benefits information.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a dental office.
• High School Diploma required.
• Familiar with Open Dental software.
• Knowledge of Denti-Cal and PPO benefits (medical, dental, PTO, holidays, 401K) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiline phone to schedule New and Existing Patient appointments.
• Schedule appointments using CDT dental procedure codes.
• Check-In patients for their appointments in a timely manner.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions with strict adherence.
• Assist with patient information and data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide excellent customer service with empathy and compassion.
• Maintain detailed organization of patient records and appointment scheduling.
