Nakoma Dental in Madison, WI is seeking a Friendly Dental Front Desk Professional to join a small, patient-focused team. You’ll manage scheduling, patient check-in/out, and payments, while delivering exceptional customer service in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has dental front desk experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic. Flexible full-time or part-time options with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

  • Previous dental front desk experience.
  • Experience with dental scheduling and patient check-in/check-out.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance, eligibility, benefits, and claims.
  • Comfortable discussing treatment estimates, copays, deductibles, and patient balances.
  • Experience with insurance verification and pre-authorizations.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and CDT procedure codes.
  • Strong computer and administrative skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and compassionate communication with patients.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy dental office.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with the office manager, dentist, hygienists, and dental assistants.
  • Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience.

Pay
  • $20 - $24 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Closed 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm for lunch
