Job summary

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Wisconsin Dental Assistant certification/credentials required
• Radiography certification preferred or required by state
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures and treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are ready
• Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by state
• Assist with patient seating, charting and treatment documentation
• Provide clear and compassionate care before, during and after treatment
• Sterilize and maintain instruments according to infection-control standards
• Maintain organized operatories and stocked supplies
• Assist with laboratory procedures and impressions as needed
• Take digital scans and photos for records
• Support patient flow and communicate with front office and clinical team
• Follow OSHA/CDC infection-control protocols
• Maintain a positive, welcoming environment for patients
