Qualifications

• Experience with patient billing, collections, and scheduling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Determine insurance coverage and financial status for patients in the faculty practice.
• Counsel patients on treatment costs and financing options.
• Process third-party claims and follow up on payments and authorizations.
• Maintain patient records and AR reports; coordinate with front desk and COD Business Office.
• Assist with VA/Community Care authorizations and patient communication.
