Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits using payer portals and electronic systems.
• Contact insurance carriers directly by phone to clarify missing or incomplete benefit information.
• Review deductibles, annual maximums, coverage percentages, frequencies, limitations, and exclusions.
• Interpret CDT procedure codes and dental insurance benefits.
• Identify discrepancies and follow up with insurance carriers as needed.
