Healthcare-For-the-Homeless Houston is seeking a Dental Clinic Coordinator to oversee daily clinic operations, including registration, scheduling, referrals, prescriptions, and medical clearances. You will coordinate patient care with the dental team, volunteers, and students to ensure smooth flow and compliance.

This role reports to the Dental Director and emphasizes quality improvement, patient records, reporting outcomes, contract/vendor coordination, and maintaining policies while delivering

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset to evaluate workflow and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork with staff, volunteers and students.
• Excellent time management to multitask registration, scheduling and referrals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an electronic dental records system.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the dental clinic including registration and scheduling.
• Coordinate referrals, prescriptions, medical clearance and patient care with the dental team, volunteers and students.
• Maintain dental records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Produce management reports and monitor patient satisfaction and outcomes.
