About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused Front Office Manager to join our expanding team! You’ll be managing all of our front desk workflows - including patient scheduling and management, accounts receivables, inventory order placement, and more. You’ll become an expert at navigating our front desk and back desk software, will be the first and last touchpoint with all patients (ensuring excellent service quality!), and ensure the front desk operations are running smoothly. If you have an eye for detail and are a people-person, this is the job for you!

What You’ll Do:

  1. End-to-end front desk operations management
  2. Patient scheduling and management - ensuring all of our patients receive excellent, professional, and friendly service from start to finish
  3. Insurance management - from applications to payment submissions, up through credentialing new doctors
  4. A touch of team supervision - doing a bit of quality control to ensure the complexities involved in medical POS and insurance management workflows managed by others are kept orderly
  5. Accounts receivables - ensure that our AR is managed in an organized and safe manner
  6. Accounts payables - work with our back office team to order essential dental supplies
  7. Work with our Director on workflow optimizations
  8. Ad hoc duties that will crop up during expansion

Required Qualifications:

  1. 4-7 years of front desk experience
  2. 3+ years working with insurances, including claim submission, pre-authorization submission, checking patient eligibility and benefits, and credentialing
  3. 1+ year in a supervisory role - ensuring your team is well trained and workflows are being maintained
  4. Fluent in English and Spanish
  5. Excellent communication skills
  6. Intermediate to expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite - primarily Word and Excel
  7. People-person - you love to work with people, and can manage even the most difficult situations with a level head and a smile
  8. Self-starter - can work well independently
  9. Detail-oriented and very organized, as you’ll be managing several workflows in tandem
  10. Team player - we're a lean team and must work well together
  11. Reliable

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with EagleSoft
  2. Experience working in a clinical setting
  3. Experience with operatory treatment set up and an understanding of standard clinical procedures
  4. X-ray license, or experience taking X-rays
