Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Bellaire School of Dentistry is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead administrative functions of the outpatient dental clinic, including billing coordination and patient access. Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of clinical management in an outpatient clinic.
• Thorough understanding of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates clinic administrative functions and policies.
• Supervises clerical staff to ensure efficient operations and service.
• Oversees daily clinic operations including purchasing, space, and scheduling.
• Oversees billing activities and resolves discrepancies with patients, carriers, and physicians.
• Analyzes data to optimize resources and staffing.
• Acts as liaison with physicians, vendors, and other departments.
• Coordinates special projects and marketing with department leadership.
• Manages HR activities for direct reports (recruiting, hiring, development, salaries).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
