Job summary

Rural Health Care Inc dba Aza Health in Palatka, FL is seeking a Center Manager to ensure operational efficiency and the delivery of exceptional patient care at the center. The Center Manager supervises dental assistants and the center's Case Manager, coordinating with the Front Desk Supervisor and Provider staff to improve workflows and patient flow.

This role requires leadership, adherence to health records procedures, and ongoing staff training to maintain high quality care and compliance

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Dental Assisting Program.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (obtain by the completion of the ninety-day introductory period).
• Three to five years experience in a dental (preferably FQHC) setting, with increasing levels of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of assigned staff’s patient interactions to evaluate skills/competencies and provide performance improvement feedback/training.
• Daily monitoring of patient flow throughout the workday to identify and resolve bottlenecks/slowdowns; coordinate with Front Desk Supervisor and Provider staff as needed.
• Daily review of patient charts for each Provider to ensure documentation and care provision by DAs; identify training needs.
• Perform bi-weekly checks with the Case Manager(s) to ensure no expired referrals exist and follow-through of duties.
• Cross-train assigned staff to ensure ongoing availability of services.
• Conduct staff training on policy/procedure updates and revisions.
• Document performance deficiencies and provide performance improvement expectations; escalate as needed.
• Conduct required evaluations for staff against position description and goals.
• Ensure timely completion of operational paperwork (schedules, supply orders, incident reports).
• Ensure compliance with health records procedures and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in the interview process for employment candidates and hiring recommendations.
• Provide job orientation and training; assign mentors and evaluate readiness to perform duties independently.
• Monitor patient flow, wait times, and center productivity; notify ND of unresolved issues.
• Investigate and respond to patient grievances; escalate to Nursing Director as necessary.
• Perform routine inspections of the facility; coordinate with maintenance staff to resolve issues.
• Coordinate monthly safety drills and compliance training with staff.
• Coordinate reviews to ensure compliance with clinical procedures and continuing education requirements.
