About the Role

Dandy is hiring a Thermoform Model Designer to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise Thermaform Models based on scans received from dental practitioners. This role requires technical expertise, dental knowledge, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

1. Import STL files into 3Shape design software.
2. Ensure STL files are suitable for design.
3. Repair, patch, or extend borders to Dr scans.
4. Add pins, bars, or geometric shapes for printable models.
5. Use MeshMixer to repair, add, and articulate both arches for import into 3Shape.
6. Export finished model designs as Zip or STL files as part of the SOP workflow.

What We're Looking For

1. 1-2 years of experience with 3Shape or Exocad modules.
2. Experience in Abutment/Bars Design.
3. Crown & Bridge design experience.
4. Ability to work on Model, Bite, and Nesting.
5. Experience with Wax/Metal Full Contour.

Additional Requirements

1. Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
2. Patience to troubleshoot effectively.
