Job summary

Charlotte Community Health Clinic is seeking a Dental Biller to manage dental insurance claims, payments, denials and appeals. You will post payments from patients and insurers, maintain patient accounts, and prepare monthly claim reports.

This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Revenue Cycle Supervisor. A strong communicator, bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with prior dental billing experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Previous medical or dental billing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Arranges payments, manages accounts, and tracks delinquent accounts.
• Regularly follows up with dental staff to ensure all patient encounter information is charted before sending claims.
• Submits proper documentation to appeal insurance denials.
• Educates patients on the billing process.
• Reviews claims for accuracy.
