Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, healthcare, insurance, or claims processing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive customer concerns professionally.
• Detail-oriented with documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and claims processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for subscribers, providers, brokers, and admins for dental benefits and claims.
• Assist with dental claim inquiries, adjustments, and other benefit questions.
• Review claims and troubleshoot complex cases using guidelines.
• Investigate potential overpayments and assist with adjustments.
• Explain benefit information including deductibles, maximums, COB, and reimbursement.
• Document customer interactions and follow-up activity accurately.
• Navigate multiple systems while researching information for customers.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow ePHI privacy rules.
• Participate in training and team initiatives.
• Provide support to newer team members as experience grows.
