Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to sustain comfort and provide appropriate education.
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during varied procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory levels.
