Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have Dental Assistant certifications from a national/state board/agency.
• Preferred: Associate degree and a diploma in Dental Assisting or an associate degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Minimum three years of practical work experience.
• Some teaching or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using lectures, demonstrations, and audiovisual aids.
• Organize practical and technical instruction and prepare instructional materials.
• Instruct students on use, maintenance, and safety of tools and equipment.
• Assess student progress with tests and assignments and maintain records.
