Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support military service members with mobile dental care, including exams and X-ray services to help troops stay deployment-ready.

You will capture BW and PANO radiographs, assist chair-side, and perform basic administrative tasks. Expect weekend availability with some weekday needs, plus biweekly pay and provided training.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Eligibility for base entry is required; background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & Pano) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
