DOCS Health is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support mobile dental services for military members, delivering exams, treatments, and X-rays in mobile exam rooms to keep service members deployment-ready.

Responsibilities include chair-side assistance, radiography, and basic admin tasks. Candidates should have active dental assistant credentials, radiology certification, and be available on weekends; base entry eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification.
• Skills & Experience: 4-handed dentistry and proficiency with digital tools; military experience preferred.
• Access to Military Bases: base entry eligibility; background and drug screening required.
• Availability: weekends; some occasional weekday needs.

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories to deploy-ready service members.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Your Role

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
