Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support military service members. You will perform exams, treatments, and X-rays in mobile exam rooms, ensuring deployment readiness and high standards of patient care.

This role offers weekend work, potential travel to bases, and reimbursement perks for mileage, per diem, flights and hotels. Candidates must hold CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA certifications, radiology and CPR/BLS credentials, with background checks required.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA or EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled in 4-handed dentistry with proficiency using digital tools; prior military experience preferred.
• Background check, criminal record check and drug screening required; base entry eligibility.
• Weekend availability for primarily weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring deployment readiness.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Your Role

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
