Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide care to military service members in mobile exam rooms, performing dental exams, treatments, and X-rays to keep troops deployment-ready. This flexible, weekend-focused role offers hourly pay, mileage reimbursement, a nourishment allowance, and biweekly payroll with full training and support to ensure success.

You will assist chair-side, manage basic admin duties, and ensure safe, sterile procedures while coordinating with base access

Qualifications

• Active CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA certification and Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Eligible for base entry and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms to keep military members deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW and PANO) and sterilize instruments.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties.

Your Role

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
