Job Overview

Pay: $25.00 - $27.14/hour

Dental Assistants will assist the dentist, prepare instruments, take X-rays, maintain records, and provide patient care, especially focusing on young, anxious patients. Ideal candidates have a calm demeanor and rapport-building skills.

Location & Schedule

35 Journal Square Plaza, Jersey City, NJ 07306
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm, Friday 8:45am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

1. Work with patients to ensure comfort and prepare for treatment.
2. Take and process X-rays.
3. Assist with restorative procedures.
4. Chart and document in Dentrix.
5. Collaborate with team members.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification required.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, restorative, and orthodontics.
• Dental assisting certificate preferred.
• Dental office experience preferred.
