Job summary

Quirt- Plover, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Wisconsin team. You’ll greet patients, review health history, take x-rays and assist dentists in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Certification in dental assisting and/or x-ray (if required by state).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic images (e.g., iTero 3D, digital photos).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and recordkeeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
