Terrace Dental Associates is a thriving dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role runs Monday 9am-7pm, Tuesday 8am-6pm, Wednesday 9am-3pm, and Thursday 8am-7pm, with no Fridays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state practice act.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI necessary for job functions; HIPAA training required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
