Job summary

Terrace Dental Associates is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for a full-time schedule (Mon 9am-7pm, Tue 8am-6pm, Wed 9am-3pm, Thu 8am-7pm; Fridays and weekends off). The role offers a salary range of $20-$26/hr based on experience plus benefits.

The successful candidate will perform chairside duties, x-rays, and patient education in a fast-paced practice. Responsibilities include reviewing health history, operating iTero and Dentrix, maintaining rooms and inventory, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide variety of procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support office workflow.
