St. Paul Oral Surgery in St. Paul, MN is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our team.

You will greet patients, review health histories, take and process x-rays, and provide chairside assistance across a range of procedures using state-of-the-art technology. Dentrix will be used for scheduling and records, with strict adherence to OSHA and CDC safety guidelines. We value collaboration, ongoing training, and a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• HIPAA training and PHI data protection awareness.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Minnesota dental assisting license required and 2–3 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and inventory, place and expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize workflow.
