Heartland Dental LLC in Saint Augustine, FL seeks a Dental Assistant to join our full-time team. The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus with a schedule Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, supporting a patient-focused practice dedicated to quality care.

As part of our team, you’ll greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays and 3D scans, provide four-handed chairside assistance, and use Dentrix for scheduling and records while maintaining strict safety

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced patient-centric environments.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organization.
• HIPAA and PHI safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and educate them during treatment.
• Review health history for quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and 3D scans.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Maintain safety with OSHA guidelines.
• Manage supplies and orders.
• Collaborate to implement Heartland Dental systems.
