Job summary

Family Health Services is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide chair-side support and help coordinate patient administration in a busy dental clinic in Jerome, Idaho. You will assist dentists and hygienists, prepare and sterilize equipment, develop radiographs, and maintain records while following safety standards.

DOE with $18.00–$23.50 per hour; quarterly bonus up to $520. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, certified Dental Assistant program completed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and radiography procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance for dental procedures including operative, preventive, and surgical cases.
• Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental equipment; ensure instruments are cleaned and processed per guidelines.
• Develop dental radiographs; monitor radiation safety and maintain records.
• Schedule appointments, conduct triage, and obtain third-party approvals.
• Maintain dental inventory and records; perform other duties as assigned.
