Job summary

Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant who prioritizes patient care and delivers precise support to the doctor during procedures. You will take radiographs, prepare the operatory, and maintain patient confidentiality while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

The role requires radiography certification, state-appropriate DA certification, and a strong customer-service mindset. Overtime and travel for training may be required in this dynamic practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current radiography certification is required.
• DA certification as required by state, or ability to obtain.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care with a strong chair-side manner, prioritizing patient experience.
• Assist doctors and hygienists during dental procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts and document health history during exams.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Help maintain schedule and patient flow, educate patients, and address questions.
