Gavilan Peak Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Anthem, AZ. The role focuses on patient comfort, health history reviews, radiography, and top-tier chairside support for our dentists.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
• AZ dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education throughout treatment
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to inform care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside four-handed assistance to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols in line with OSHA & CDC recommendations
• Manage supply and inventory levels, and place/expedite orders as needed
• Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
