Job summary

Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant focused on patient care and exceptional service. You will support the doctor with procedures, take and mount radiographs, and help maintain a smooth patient flow in a fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities include chart review, data entry, equipment prep, and providing education to patients while maintaining HIPAA and OSHA standards. The role emphasizes teamwork and a friendly, professional chair-side manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, making the patient the priority.
• Be present and ready for all shifts.
• Take direction from the doctor/hygienist and assist with dental procedures.
• Take, develop and mount accurate radiographs.
• Review patient charts, log health history, and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Coordinate with staff to schedule follow-ups and track lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and order as needed.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations.
