Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care with a chair-side manner.
• Be present and prepared for all scheduled shifts.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with dental procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop, and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts, document health history, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Maintain patient flow and assist with scheduling follow-ups.
• Communicate with patients to address questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient service excellence.
• Monitor dental supplies and order as needed.
• Support marketing of Sonrava services and products.
• Complete daily checklists and participate in team huddles.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow safety policies.
