Job summary

Sonrava Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support doctors and hygienists with procedures, radiographs, and patient care. You will maintain chair-side service and ensure a smooth patient flow.

The role requires a high school diploma, radiography certification, and state-issued dental assistant credentials, with CPR and nitrous oxide preparation preferred. OSHA/HIPAA training is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current radiography certification is required.
• Dental assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a chair-side manner, making the patient the top priority.
• Be present, engaged, and ready for all scheduled shifts.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop, and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review charts before arrival and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per procedures.
