Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant for our Colorado practice, where patient care comes first and the team delivers exceptional dental experiences. You will support the doctor with precise procedures, take radiographs, and help manage patient flow with a friendly chair-side manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification required by state or ability to obtain.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, making the patient the #1 priority.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist the doctor and hygienist with all dental procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount accurate radiographs.
• Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival and log health history during exams.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an extraordinary patient experience.
• Coordinate with doctors, hygienists and staff to maintain service quality.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and tracking lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and order using approved formulary.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Follow OSHA and BBP safety policies.
