NorthLakes Community Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the Dentist and provide patient care. You will prepare patients, take digital dental x-rays, assist during procedures, and help with exams.

Required: one-year certificate or three months related experience; current CPR; DANB certification preferred; strong communication and organizational skills; commitment to ethics and confidentiality.

Formación

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current CPR certification required for all roles; certification from an accredited agency within 12 months of hire is strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and prepare patient for treatment.
• Take digital dental x-rays to aid dentist in diagnosis.
• Chart conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist.
• Place fluoride varnish to prevent oral health disease.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up trays, assist dentist during procedures.
• Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations.
• Pour, trim, and polish models; fabricate impression trays; clean and polish removable appliances; fabricate temporary crowns.
• Apply effective communication techniques with a variety of patients.
