Job summary

Noble Community Clinics in West Bend, WI is seeking a dental assistant to enhance the efficiency of the dental office and create a relaxed, welcoming environment for patients.

You will support the dentist and patients, assist with preparation, manage records, sterilize instruments, educate patients on oral hygiene, and perform x-ray imaging. The role requires a high school diploma and dental assistant training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 1 year experience as Dental Assistant is desired.
• Graduation from a Dental Assistant training program/technical school; additional training may substitute for experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support both the dentist and patients with a variety of tasks.
• Assist with patient preparation, providing comfort and explaining procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Ensure instruments are properly sterilized, and that the treatment area is clean and organized.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Expose and develop diagnostic dental x-rays and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dental operatory equipment.
