Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience as Dental Assistant preferred.
• Graduation from a Dental Assistant training program; additional training may substitute for required experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the dentist and patients with a variety of tasks.
• Assist with patient preparation, providing comfort and explaining procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Ensure instruments are properly sterilized, and the treatment area is clean and organized.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Expose and develop diagnostic dental X-rays and perform routine maintenance/cleaning of operatory equipment.
