Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in California is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist. Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities to assist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure patient comfort.

You will take and develop X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, maintain accurate records, manage supplies, and help with front-office tasks such as scheduling and payments. We value safety, infection control, and a welcoming patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Take and develop X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed
