Aegis Dental Group in Goshen, IN is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. You'll welcome patients, prepare treatment rooms, and assist doctors with four-handed dentistry. This role requires X-ray certification and knowledge of instruments, sterilization, and infection control.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• X-ray certification required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection-control procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
• Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and dental office technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental assisting education or certification preferred.
• EFDA training/certification is a plus.
• Coronal polishing certification/experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Assist doctors using four-handed dentistry.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control standards.
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Complete laboratory tasks as directed.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist with scheduling and other patient-related needs as needed.
• Help create a positive, efficient experience for both patients and the dental team.
