Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist and hygienist during treatment procedures.
• Obtain patient medical history and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize instruments.
• Assist with patient comfort before, during and after treatment.
• Provide post-procedure oral care instructions to patients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and nutritional guidance.
• Take impressions for study casts and models as needed.
• Perform office tasks using a computer, such as scheduling and billing.
• Communicate with patients and suppliers regarding appointments and supplies.
