The ideal candidate holds a California RDA license, a Dental Assisting Certificate or equivalent experience, and is comfortable moving between sites. Part-time/on-call with travel between centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active California Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Completion of Dental Assistant training program with a Dental Assisting Certificate or one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in direct provision of dental services.
• Prepare and stock operatories, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory.
• Take and record medical and dental histories; provide diagnostic aids including x-ray.
• Maintain patient treatment records and four-handed dentistry support.
• Travel to different locations within the Sacramento region as needed.
