Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid DA or RDA license.
• Minimum of one year in a dental environment.
• California infection control knowledge.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients have a positive experience with care and compassion.
• Coordinate with staff including receptionists, hygienists and dentists.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials and equipment.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment.
• Take and process x-rays.
• Assist chair-side by organizing instruments and aiding during procedures.
• Advise patients on oral hygiene and dental care.
• Demonstrate infection control, cleaning and sterilization procedures.
