Job summary

Salt Dental Partners in Kentucky is seeking an orthodontic assistant who greets and supports patients before, during, and after appointments. You will take radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos, and help prepare and sterilize the treatment area.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of orthodontic assistant experience, a CODA-accredited program (preferred), and an active license. You will document patient records and assist the orthodontist with treatment plans while maintaining

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant
• CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions
• Punctual, professional, and a strong team player
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
