Job summary

MyOrthodontist in Mount Airy, NC is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented dental assistant to support our orthodontic team. You will greet patients, assist during exams, and help ensure a smooth, positive visit.

This role involves taking radiographs, impressions, sterilizing rooms, documenting patient records, and supporting treatment planning. We value punctuality, teamwork, and clear communication to deliver outstanding dental care.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant as required by state.
• 6+ months of orthodontic assistant experience.
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program completed (preferred).
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions.
• Punctual, professional, and a strong team player.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
