Salt Dental Partners in Concord, NC seeks an orthodontic assistant dedicated to patient care and teamwork. You will support patients across visits and assist the orthodontist in treatment planning.

Responsibilities include taking radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos, preparing and sterilizing rooms, and documenting patient records. A CODA-accredited program is preferred, with strong communication and punctuality valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment
• Document orthodontic care by charting patient records
• Assist the orthodontist in assessing patients and implementing treatment plans
• Perform routine orthodontic duties, including adjusting orthodontic gear

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state
• 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions
• Punctual, professional, and a strong team player
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
