Job summary

The Smilist Dental is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant (Ortho) to join our Brick Township area practice, delivering high-quality care in a warm, professional environment. You will prepare trays, assist doctors, maintain a sterile operatory, and help coordinate care across Brick, Toms River, Jackson, Lacey and Englishtown offices.

NJ x-ray license is required; RDA preferred but not required; at least 1 year of dental assistant experience; Dentrix experience a plus; strong communication and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year.
• Prior ortho experience.
• NJ x-ray license required.
• RDA preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant (Ortho) to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care. Must be able to work in the following locations: Brick, Toms River, Lacey, Jackson, Englishtown.

Key Responsibilities:

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Monday through Friday!
• Salary Range:$28.00-$32.00/hour
• Location:Brick, Toms River, Jackson, Lacey, Englishtown, NJ
