Familia Dental Evansville is seeking dedicated Dental Assistants to join our team. We provide on-the-job training, so certification is not required. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical team in a fast-paced, positive environment and play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer/patient service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with dental management software (Denticon preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Detail oriented and organized with time management.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and state requirements for DA duties.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort patients professionally.
• Ensure treatment rooms are stocked and inventory is maintained.
• Record patient medical and dental histories and vitals.
• Document dental procedures per Dentist instructions and legal requirements.
• Take and develop dental diagnostic x-rays.
• Fabricate temporary restorations as allowed by state law.
• Sterilize instruments and assist Dentist during procedures.
• Educate patients on dental health and oral hygiene.
