Familia Dental Addison is seeking dedicated Dental Assistants to join our team. We provide on-the-job training; certification is not required to be hired as a DA. You will support clinicians, manage rooms, take X-rays, and educate patients in a fast-paced, caring environment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer/patient service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer knowledge and Denticon experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Meets state requirements for DA duties and licenses; BLS/CPR and radiography certificates.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients professionally and courteously.
• Ensure treatment rooms are stocked and ready for procedures.
• Record patient medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Document procedures per instructions and legal requirements.
• Take and develop dental X-rays; protect patient safety.
• Sterilize instruments and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Provide patient education on dental health and hygiene.
• Attend meetings and participate in morning huddles.
• Follow company policies and state/federal laws.
