Qualifications

• Exceptional customer/patient service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and Denticon experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Meet state requirements for DA duties and CPR/BLS certificates.
• Dental assisting experience is preferred but not required.
• Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort patients professionally from reception to treatment areas.
• Ensure treatment rooms are stocked and inventory is maintained.
• Record patient medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Document procedures per Dentist’s instructions and legal requirements.
• Take and develop dental diagnostic x-rays.
• Sterilize instruments and assist with procedures.
• Educate patients on dental health and oral hygiene.
• Attend morning huddles and office meetings.
• Follow company policies and state and federal laws.
